Journey of Faith, Nature, and Togetherness
Some journeys are planned on maps — others are written by the heart.
Our recent weekend road trip from Mumbai to Bhīmashankar, Grīshneshwar, and Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlingas was a soulful blend of devotion, scenic beauty, and shared silence — a perfect Shravan month yatra filled with peace and purpose.
Day 1: Mumbai → Bhīmashankar → Grīshneshwar

We began our journey from Mumbai at 10 PM, under soft moonlight and the hum of highway winds.
By early morning, the misty Sahyadri hills welcomed us to Bhīmashankar Jyotirlinga, one of Maharashtra’s most revered Shiva shrines. Nestled in a wildlife sanctuary, this temple feels like it’s hidden in nature’s lap — the chants, the fog, and the sound of bells create an otherworldly calm.
After darshan and a quick breakfast, we hit the road again toward Grīshneshwar, near the famous Ellora Caves. The temple’s Hemadpanthi architecture and its quiet aura make it truly timeless.
By evening, we checked into a cozy lodge near the temple, ending the day with a simple dinner and deep contentment.
Stay: Overnight at Grīshneshwar
Day 2: Grīshneshwar → Shirdi → Trimbakeshwar → Mumbai

Our day began before dawn, driving toward Shirdi, the serene abode of Sai Baba. The morning darshan (8–9:30 AM) felt like a gentle pause — a moment of pure peace and gratitude.
By 10 AM, we were back on the road toward Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga, near Nashik, where the sacred Godavari River originates. The temple, representing the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh, radiates divine balance and strength.
After a traditional Maharashtrian thali lunch in Trimbak, we began our drive back to Mumbai, reaching home by evening — souls refreshed and hearts full.
